oh yeah and...

Olivia is pretty pumped!

My little Miscreant!

I don't know what we would ever do without our Livy, she cracks us up everyday and it has been an adventure everyday to watch her grow and discover new things. Some of her accomplishments:

Eating cereal and finding that she loves peas and carrots
Rolling over and then learning how to sit up
Saying Da Da and only saying Ma Ma when she is sad
Learning how to hold her own bottle and then a sippy cup!
I have caught her on film pulling herself up onto the coffee table!
She gives the most wonderful kisses when you ask

The list goes on and on, parenthood is a wonderful journey!

Ahh the Holidays!

Thanksgiving and Christmas were a whirlwind of family and friends! For Thanksgiving we headed down to St. George to stay at Brock and Blayr's new home and dined on turkey and all the trimmings until I had to be rolled out the door. I love the holidays, but especially Christmas and this year I even bought a countdown calendar, the mouse was missing but Alex thought it was appropriate to replace it with a picture of Bob Dylan on a popsicle stick. The tree looked great and Olivia didn't even try to tear it down, but we did have some pretty sweet stockings! I kept myself busy being Betty Crocker, no I would dare say I could have called myself Brittnie Crocker without blowing my own horn too much, but my cookies were freakin fantastic! Olivia my little miscreant was spoiled rotten by everyone, she liked to rip open the present and then sample the wrapping paper, but after that she didn't really care too much. I won a sweet home theatre popcorn maker at the Bravo family auction which I am stoked to use! I hope everyone had a great Christmas season and the New Year brings much happiness!

HALLOWEEN FUN!

For a little Halloween delight we headed to Red Butte Gardens and walked through and enjoyed their haunted trails and watched all the little jammers in their costumes, it got a little chilly but we had a great time, I even avoided being bit by a rattlesnake!

Family Photo Shoot

Snowbasin provided the perfect back drop for our first family photos, we had some cattle to work with but, I had it handled. They turned out great and we finished right as it started to snow!

Olivia's Baptism

Olivia was baptized by Father Cummins in October at the beautiful St. Florence Parish in Huntsville, Utah. It was a great day spent with family.

Summer Road trip to San Fran and Corvallis, OR

We hit the road in our awesome Jeep Patriot ( never doing that again) and passed through the beautiful scenery of Nevada, which Alex stopped frequently and won us some gas money, so no complaints! We made it into San Francisco around sunset which was pretty awesome as we were crossing the golden gate bridge. Our hotel room was tight quarters, no bathroom but we had a sink and a bed , which had to be quite comical to the hotel peeps when we pulled up with half our house and a stroller to squeeze in, but we survived and had a great time! I even liked it so much I spend an hour in the piers bathroom after some overload on clams, it was awesome! After 2 wonderful days in San Fran we headed north for about 14 hours on our journey to Corvallis where Simon and Lydia were awaiting us! Olivia was an angel the whole way, either sleeping or eating, I would wish a child like her for every living person if I could. The Oregon coast is breath taking, if you have not seen it, I highly recommend it. It was like stepping into a dream, I had to stop taking pictures because they were doing it no justice. We had a great time in Corvallis, Simon and Lydia are amazing hosts and phenomenal cooks! I can't wait to visit again!
